Macedonia's Cosmofon Launches Mobile TV

TV Programs Live On Your Mobile Phone

In line with our corporate philosophy to always be first on the market in the implementation of the latest technological solutions and services in the mobile telephony sphere, COSMOFON introduces LIVE TV for the first time on the telecommunications market, available for all its mobile customers.

As of today, August 17, 2009 all COSMOFON mobile customers can enjoy the Live TV service that enables them to watch live TV programs on their mobile phones. In the initial period, LIVE TV customers will have the programs of several TV stations to choose from: A1 TV, SITEL TV, KANAL 5 TV and ERA TV. The list of TV stations will be further extended.

To use the LIVE TV service, customers should visit COSMOFON’s mobile portal at wap.planet.mk, select the option LIVE TV and the desired TV channel.

Furthermore, for all COSMOFON prepaid and postpaid mobile customers, the portal provides various types of services such as content services – ringtones, wallpapers, java games and text services, such as breaking news, world news, local news, culture, economy and weather forecast. Via the portal, the customers can also access various useful links such as: Google search, Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo mail and Live scores.

The new service is available to all COSMOFON customers with 3G enabled phones, that are located within the 3G coverage area.
