Green Packet wins DTT STB contract with MYTV in Malaysia

Green Packet Berhad has announced that it has entered into a contract with MYTV Broadcasting for the design, supply, assembly, testing and acceptance of DVB-T2 (T2000) set-top boxes (STBs).
MYTV has been awarded the concession by the Government to operate the infrastructure and network facilities for Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT) services in Malaysia, which is to realise the migration of analogue terrestrial broadcasting to digital broadcasting.
Purchase Orders may be issued by MYTV under the contract for the supply of up to 3,600,000 STBs.
