Spain - DIGITAL+ launches iPLUS PVR

DIGITAL+ is to launch in Spain the most advanced set top box personal video recorder (STB PVR) next month of August 2007. iPlus features 160 GB hard drive capacity, enough to store over eighty hours of programmes. No disks or tapes are required and it is fully integrated with DIGITAL+ Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) and DIGITAL+ remote.

iPlus allows the subscriber to watch one channel and tape any other at the same time and provides full access to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) channels. The sound is enhanced with Dolby Digital quality and is ready for High Definition television (HDTV) to be launched in Spain shortly.

iPlus enables to tape easily all chapters of a given series or any event just by selecting a topic in common. You can stop or rewind a programme even when watching it live.

Similar devices have been successfully launched in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France. DIGITAL+ introduces now in Spain the highest quality set top box with PVR HD and DTT features. iPlus will be available from August 2007 onwards.
