Broadcom Debuts Cable STB IC With HD AVC/VC-1 Decoding, Channel Bonding and Downloadable Security
Jan 4, 2007 – Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM) has announced a cable STB chip that includes support for DOCSIS®/EuroDOCSIS 2.0 cable modem specifications, as well as downstream channel bonding compatible with the upcoming DOCSIS 3.0 specification.
