China to define Infrared Remote Control Coding Standards

The China Audio, Video, Multimedia System & Equipment Standardization Technical Committee (AVMSC) of the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) is to create a drafting group for a national “Audiovisual and Multimedia Infrared Remote Control Coding Standard.”
Coship Electronics (Shenzhen:002052) will be responsible for the set-top box sub-group.
