Miniweb Announces Multi-Territory Agreement With China's DTM

LONDON and LAS VEGAS (CES) — Miniweb, the leading provider of cloud-based connected TV services, and Digital Telemedia Co., Ltd (DTM) one of the leading Set Top Box suppliers in China, have partnered to offer customers a variety of new connected TV content sources and services.
The offering is based on Miniweb’s woomi Connected TV Services Platform and DTM’s range of HD DiON Set Top Boxes. It will allow DTM customers throughout Europe, Middle-East and South East Asia to choose from adopting either Miniweb’s own branded, connected TV application ‘woomi’, or to create their own branded solution.

DTM is one of the top manufacturers and exporters in China with a manufacturing capability of 1,000,000 units monthly. “There is a growing demand for services and solutions that enrich the connected TV experience and allow service providers to customize their product offering by market. Miniweb’s connected TV application enables just that and we are delighted to be working with them,” adds DTM’s spokesman.
