2.65 million connected TVs for France this year

SIMAVELEC (le Syndicat des Industries de Matériels Audiovisuels Electroniques) has released figures for the French television market at its annual press conference held on January 18, 2011.

SIMAVELEC expects that of the 8.95 million TVs to be sold in France this year 900,000 will be 3D capable and 2.65 million will be connectable to the internet.
