Skyviia and Mediafly Announce Private Label Internet TV Service

CHICAGO — Skyviia Corporation, a global multimedia chipset manufacturer and Mediafly, Inc., a worldwide provider of business media management and delivery solutions, have announced today the offering of a Private Label Internet TV Service to manufacturers, retailers, and service providers worldwide, powered by Mediafly’s popular delivery platform.

Based in Taiwan, Skyviia is a market pioneer in System on Chip (SoC) solutions for innovative digital multimedia products such as digital media player and hybrid IP-DVB-T set top box. Skyviia’s deep semiconductor experience combined withMediafly’s experience in multi-device and worldwide content delivery (Mediafly has delivered content to over 140 countries), will enable manufacturers, retailers, and service providers to offer their own customized and branded Internet TV services. The private-label Internet TV Service provides dozens of categories of streaming feeds such as News, Finance, Sports, Technology, Comedy. Content is sourced from across the world and includes some of the biggest household names plus entertaining independent content providers. To serve specific target market needs, channels may be customized to add additional regional content feeds as desired. Skyviia has developed and integrated Mediafly’s advanced delivery capabilities on its Android-based SoC, SV8860 platform, designed for digital media players and hybrid IP-DVB-T set top box applications. Both SV8860 applications can allow a manufacturer, retailer or service provider deploy its own privately branded Internet TV service for viewers globally, with pre-programmed channels of aggregated audio and video streaming content, as well as the capabilities for customized local audio and video feeds. Skyviia’s SV8860 digital media player application allows IP-based content streaming to TV and has already allowed dozens of manufacturers, retailers and service providers to serve many satisfied viewers. The hybrid IP-DVB-T set top box application allows viewers in Asia, Australia and Europe to receive Free to Air (FTA) Digital TV content as well as IP-based streaming content on TV.
