Belgacom to launch 'TV everywhere' on September 3rd

TV Partout/TV Overal (TV everywhere) = watch TV wherever you are

On 3 September 2012, Belgacom (Brussels: BELG) is commercialising the TV Partout/TV Overal service. With TV Partout/Tv Overal, Belgacom TV customers can watch TV both at home and on the go, on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Belgacom TV customers have been able to try out the service for free since July 2011. During this trial period, Belgacom fine-tuned the service and expanded the offering from 14 to over 30 channels. Moreover, customers can watch football and basketball, consult the TV guide, and record programs remotely on Belgacom TV. TV Partout/TV Overal is included in Belgacom’s Maxi Pack. Other Belgacom TV-customers can subscribe to TV Partout/TV Overal for €4.95 per month.

Belgacom is commercialising the TV Partout/TV Overal application for watching TV at home and on the go as from 3 September. Belgacom customers have been able to try out the service for free since July of last year. During this trial period, Belgacom fine-tuned the service and expanded the offering from the initial 14 channels to over 30 channels today.

TV Partout/TV Overal is included in the Maxi Pack

For customers who have a Maxi Pack, TV Partout/TV Overal is included in their subscription. Other Belgacom TV-customers can subscribe for €4.95 per month to watch the channel offering. Consulting the Belgacom TV guide and programming recordings remotely on Belgacom TV remains free of charge. Proximus customers with an Internet On GSM or Mobile Internet subscription with over 50 MB of volume and who subscribe to TV Partout/TV Overal, have one hour of free access to TV Partout/TV Overal per month via the 3G network.

Belgacom TV customers, including the current test users, who take out a TV Partout/TV Overal subscription between 3 September and 31 October receive the first two months for free.

Watch TV at home and on the go, on your PC/Mac, laptop, tablet and smartphone

With TV Partout/TV Overal, Belgacom TV customers can watch their favorite programs at home and on the go. They can watch TV on their tablet, PC/Mac, laptop or smartphone everywhere in Belgium, via a Belgacom Internet connection. At home, they can watch TV via their Wi-Fi connection, and outside their home, via over 600,000 national Wi-Fi Fon hotspots or via the Proximus 3G network.

More than 30 channels, football & basketball, a TV guide, and remote recording

Belgacom TV customers have access to over 30 channels via TV Partout/TV Overal: één, Canvas, Ketnet, vtm, 2BE, vtmKzoom, VT4, VIJFtv, Vitaya, Acht, Eurosport, anne, JIM, Nickelodeon Junior, Euronews, Belgacom Zoom, RTL-TVI, Club RTL, Plug RTL, AB3, AB4, France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5, Trace Urban, LCI, MCM Pop, Tiji, Canal J and Belgacom 5. Customers can also consult the Belgacom TV guide and record programs remotely on Belgacom TV.

With TV Partout/TV Overal, customers can also watch football and basketball: every weekend, one match of the Jupiler League, in average 2 matches from the Belgacom League (Division 2) and as from October the best of the Belgian basketball matches. Customers with the Belgacom 11+ football subscription can also watch the matches and programs from Belgacom 11+ via TV Partout/TV Overal.

Activating TV Partout/TV Overal via the Belgacom e-Services

To watch TV via TV Partout/TV Overal, you simply have to be a Belgacom TV customer and activate the option via the Belgacom e-Services. Belgacom TV customers with a smartphone or tablet can download the TV Partout/TV Overal app on their device via Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Customers with a laptop or PC/Mac can access TV Partout/TV Overal via the websites www.tvpartout.be or www.tvoveral.be. To use TV Partout/TV Overal, customers simply have to identify themselves with their e-Services login and password.

TV Partout/TV Overal is a perfect example of Belgacom’s convergence strategy. Belgacom wants to give its customers access to services and applications such as TV Partout/TV Overal wherever they are, at home or on the go, and on any device. This is possible with the Belgacom Internet Everywhere subscription: with just one subscription, customers can surf the net both at home and on the go.
