Ubitus Inc., the technology leader of cloud gaming solutions, and MStar Semiconductor, Inc., a leading semiconductor company for display and digital home platforms, will together showcase smart TV cloud gaming solutions at 2012 IFA, starting from today.
By pre-integrating the industry’s most scalable GPU-accelerated Cloud Gaming solution – Ubitus’s GameCloud® – which supports the highest concurrent users with least power consumption, MStar’s Smart TV Controller SoC series will soon be able to enable TV makers to stream native-like quality video games directly over broadband networks without additional hardware investment.
“By deepening the cooperation with Ubitus to integrate its cloud gaming technology into our Smart TV controller SoC, we support our customers with greater capacity of cloud entertainment that turns into stronger competitiveness. It will ultimately lead to the perfect fulfillment of digi-family entertainment for the consumers in the coming future.” said Kevin Kang, VP of Sales and Marketing in MStar.
“We are honored to jointly demonstrate the latest cloud gaming technology to smart TVs at 2012 IFA with MStar,” said Wesley Kuo, CEO of Ubitus Inc. “From Q4 2011, Ubitus had successfully launched multiple cloud gaming services in Japan and Korea. In partnership with MStar, we look forward to offering smart TV cloud gaming services to more users globally.”
