Abertis Telecom to launch HbbTV DTT service in 2H 2013
Tuesday, August 13th, 2013MADRID — Spain’s Abertis Telecom has announced that it is planning to launch a hybrid DTT service in the second half of 2013.
The offering will be based on HbbTV standards, and will be compliant with the ‘TDT Híbrida en España’ specifications defined by the Foro Técnico de la Televisión Digital (Digital Television Technical Forum), a committee of representatives from Spain’s audiovisual industry, coordinated by the Asociación Española de Empresas de Televisión Interactiva (AEDETI).
