HTTV to provide HbbTV head-end to Sentech

Sentech selects HTTV to provide its HbbTV head end platform aimed at delivering HbbTV services on the Sentech Digital Content Distribution Platform in South Africa

HTTV will supply httvStream its Head End flagship product that will enable Sentech and South African broadcasters to deploy HbbTV services on Sentech’s Direct To Home – Satellite (DTH – S) Platform. The HTTV offer is complemented with the OnScreen Publisher authoring tool from OnScreen that will help Sentech design and develop HbbTV services.

httvStream is a DVB data streamer and real-time multiplexer for HbbTV applications. Besides HbbTV, it supports and any kind of DVB datacasting such as STB software updates, EIT, PushVOD and more.
