Hong Kong's now TV and Netflix announce partnership

The first Hong Kong broadcaster to provide Netflix content via all-in-one IPTV/OTT set-top boxes

HONG KONG — now TV, Hong Kong’s largest pay-TV and a leading OTT service provider, and Netflix, the world’s leading Internet TV network, announced today a partnership that will start delivering Netflix to customers through now TV’s set-top boxes and the new 4K all-in-one appliance “now one” from the second quarter of 2016. This makes now TV the first broadcaster in Hong Kong to provide the best large screen experience for Netflix via its set-top boxes.

Netflix offers three service plans in Hong Kong with monthly fees of $63 for 1-screen in standard definition, $78 for 2 screens simultaneously in high definition and $93 for 4 screens simultaneously in HD and Ultra HD 4K. The partnership will enable now TV customers to enjoy any tier of Netflix subscription via now TV’s set-top boxes and “now one”* .
