Viu app comes to Astro's Ultra Box

Astro rewards Ultra Box customers with FREE Viu Premium until 8 June 2023

KUALA LUMPUR — As part of the New Astro Experience, we are expanding our streaming service with more Asian entertainment by welcoming the Viu app to our platform. Astro customers can now access Viu on multi-screens, including the Ultra Box for popular shows such as K-Dramas Taxi Driver 2 and Delivery Man, as well as other shows including Thai and Indonesian dramas, Viu Original series, Korean variety shows and more upcoming local titles.

In celebration of this launch, Astro is also rewarding all Ultra Box customers with FREE access to Viu Premium until 8 June 2023. Customers can stream shows such as Nenek Bongkok Tiga, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Bilik Tepi (premiering today), Return Man, Mantan Tapi Menikah and Boys Planet via their Ultra Box or on the go through the Viu mobile app.

This exciting addition to Astro extends its strong streaming app line-up, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, HBO GO, iQIYI, BBC Player, TVBAnywhere+ and beIN SPORTS CONNECT. With the goal of bringing in more entertainment from across the globe for our customers to enjoy, Astro will also introduce Zee5 and more to our platform soon.

Astro customers can start streaming all their favourite shows on Viu by opening the app on their Ultra Box. Additionally, to enjoy Viu on the website and mobile app, click “Pair Account” and follow the steps on screen to log in with you existing ID or create a new basic ID and pair your account to your Ultra Box. Now, you can enjoy Viu on all your devices!

Viu Premium is priced at RM14.90/month (RRP). Astro customers may continue to access Viu Premium by adding it to their subscription at an exclusive offer after 8 June 2023.
