Tivùon! the way to watch TV changes. Everything, always, for free
Tivù srl, the company that operates tivùsat, the Italian free-to-air satellite platform, launches tivùon! a free application on first screen that allows users to browse an extended 7 day EPG, 7 days forward and 7 days backward, giving direct access to the catch-up content of the main italian broadcasters.
tivùon! is available on digital terrestrial and tivùsat set-top-boxes and TV sets. Look for the golden tivùon! sticker on the products.
In order to enable tivùon! Tivù opted for open standards:
- MHP-GEM; from 2017 the MHP-GEM will be joined by HbbTV 2.0.1 specs;
- MPEG-DASH;
- CENC standard;
- Marlin open standard DRM for content protection and application security;
- secured by tivùon! BAS certificates (x.509 standard certificates).
With tivùon! watching TV becomes easier. Everything, always, for free.
