SERAPHIC, the leading digital TV browser provider, is showcasing the latest features of Freeview Play at IBC2017. It provides strong support for the HbbTV technology based interactive TV standard.
Freeview Play was launched in October 2015, offering a combination of linear channels and on-demand programming. It enables its viewers to enjoy live TV and catch-up programmes from BBC iPlayer, the ITV Hub, All 4, My5 and UKTV Play sitting alongside over 70 digital channels and 15 HD channels. In March 2017, Freeview Play reached the million mark in global market.
