  • Conklin-Intracom fs|cdn® Anywhere platform to be made available to Zito Media markets in 18 states by close of 2018

DULUTH, GA — Conklin-Intracom, a fully owned subsidiary of the Intracom Telecom Group and developer of innovative products and services for telco, cable, broadband and TV Anywhere content delivery solutions, today announced Zito Media plans to adopt and complete the deployment of Conklin-Intracom IPTV and TV Anywhere middleware to all of its served markets, by the close of 2018.

Zito Media is a telecommunications company that operates in 18 states. It provides TV (including digital cable), high-speed Internet, and digital phone services. Zito Media plans to standardize and update their in-home TV viewing solution, using a combination of unicast and multicast-based technologies.

After converting to Conklin-Intracom’s fs|cdn® Anywhere platform, Zito Media is able to support multicast to IPTV/QAM set top boxes and unicast video to TV Anywhere set top boxes and other connected devices. The fs|cdn® Anywhere platform supports robust subscriber management, content management for live TV, video on demand, network DVR and Restart TV.

“To date, we have launched Anywhere in about 25% of our footprint. We plan to complete our transition and have 100% availability across Zito’s footprint by end of 2018,” stated Chris Ruding, VP, Residential Operations of Zito Media. “Throughout the process, Conklin-Intracom’s Engineering and Business Development team have been helpful and very interactive. We are satisfied with our progress and the roll-out of TV features.”

“Conklin-Intracom is excited to help Zito Media deploy new TV services and expand their unicast TV services,” said Dave Hunt, EVP of Conklin-Intracom. “We are thrilled to be selected after extensive testing against other IPTV middleware providers.”
