Orange Spain has reached an agreement with Amazon that has enabled it to integrate the Prime Video app into its Android TV based 4K HDR decoder. As a result, Orange TV customers now have easy access directly on their box to the wide range of Amazon Prime Video content.
The agreement with Amazon supports the strategy of Orange to always make available to its customers the best premium television content available in the market. In an agile and simple way, Orange TV customers can access one of the best entertainment services in the international market, with thousands of movies and original series.
Amazon Prime Video joins the complete content offer available on Orange TV’s Android TV decoder, which includes access to all of the Google Play Store apps available for Android TV. The box also features voice search, so that the user can find and enjoy content easily and immediately, and integrates Chromecast support allowing content to be sent to the TV from any compatible Android device.
Additionally, the 4K HDR compatible box supports all of the features of the Orange television service (recording in the cloud, 7 day replay, start over, video store, TV on demand, …).
