TV3 Group has launched Go3 – service based on redGalaxy technology
TV3 Group (former known as All Media Baltics), the largest electronic media group in the Baltic countries, has launched Go3 service – the biggest OTT platform in the Baltic region. The new service is featured with the widest range of local and international sports and entertainment content in the Baltics, including more than 40 Live TV channels, news, premium sports, over 1000 original movies and more than 100 hours of live sport broadcasts per week.
The Go3 platform is based on redGalaxy technology developed by Atende Software. The subject of the implementation, which was carried out between June and December 2019, was the adaptation and implementation of the multi-tenant white-label OTT backend, along with branded end-user applications for Web, Android, iOS, Android TV (operator tier), Samsung SmartTV and LG webOS and Chromcast platforms. An important new feature of the Go3 OTT platform is its multi-instances, which allows to effectively launch subsequent websites under new brands. Content security, based on Microsoft Playready, Google Widevine and Apple FairPlay DRM systems are also provided as a part of the cooperation.
In addition to providing technology, Atende Software’s role was to develop the user interface of the branded end-user applications, as well as integration with the existing application environment. The project was implemented by a team of over 50 people.
“Cooperation with the TV3 Group team was a real pleasure for us, but also a challenge. The implementation of the Go3 platform is a new, important point in the history of our company – this is the first time for such large implementation for a foreign entity. We are convinced that the use of redGalaxy technology will allow TV3 Group to provide services with the highest quality,” says Przemysław Frasunek, Vice President of the Management Board of Atende Software.
