France - August 'Baromètre TDF de la télévision numérique'

TDF, in conjunction with NPA Conseil, has published its quarterly status report on the digital TV market in France. The second quarter of 2008 was marked by strong growth in the conversion to digital of French homes.
At end-June 2008, 56% of households had access to digital TV on at least one television, up 4.3 points from the previous quarter. The share of households that are totally digital, i.e. where all TVs can receive digital television, grew more moderately to 31.5% (+1.7 points).
