ArcSoft TotalMedia 3.5 Supports DMB-TH, the New Digital TV Broadcast Standard in China

FREMONT, California — ArcSoft, Inc. announced today that ArcSoft TotalMedia 3.5 now supports Terrestrial Digital Multimedia TV/Handle Broadcasting (DMB-TH), the new Digital TV standard in China.
ArcSoft TotalMedia 3.5 is a media hub which combines TV, video recording and editing, media conversion, and more, in one easy-to-use program. Viewers not only can watch TV with a time-shifting feature, but also record programs and edit out unwanted parts directly within the application, then burn content onto DVDs.
“With the 2008 Beijing Olympics launching soon, all games will be broadcast on HD TV,” said George Tang, ArcSoft Vice President and General Manager of Video and Home Entertainment Group. “We are pleased to be bringing viewers in China the ultimate Olympic experience onto their PCs.”
