BRAINE L’ALLEUD, Belgium — Alpha Networks, a leading provider in software solutions for the video distribution market, announced today the acquisition of Veygo, a French tech company specialized in the delivery of a secure player for the video industry.

Alpha Networks and Veygo have been successfully collaborating over the last 5 years for the deployment of ambitious projects for operators and media companies in Europe and Latam, including TeleCentro, a major cable operator in Argentina.

Veygo Meta_Player is a secure video player enabling premium live and VOD content delivery and playback with multi device HTML5 and native applications, providing intelligent real-time monitoring of the Quality of Service and consumer behaviour. The solution is pre-integrated with Tucano, Alpha Networks modular video software and enables a compelling viewer experience.

We believe this acquisition will help us reinforce the technological prowess of every component of our video platforms and operating leverage, as we continue to innovate with our products” – Guillaume Devezeaux, CEO at Alpha Networks

Jean-Christophe Perier, founder of Veygo, noted: “We’re happy to be part of the Alpha Networks’ Group.
