BeIN Media Group Renews Trust In Global System Integrator Cognacq-Jay Image And Software Provider Alpha Networks For Its OTT Platform In MENA

BRAINE L’ALLEUD, Belgium; ISSY-LES-MOULINEAUX, France — Alpha Networks, a leading provider in software solutions for the video distribution market, and Cognacq-Jay Image, a leading service provider in the media industry for playout, head-end, and digital platforms, announce today that beIN MEDIA GROUP (“beIN”) has extended the contract for development, maintenance and support of its Over-the-Top (OTT) platform for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), adding two extra years to the already long-term partnership.

The extension will mark a transition from a hybrid B2C/B2B to a B2B only approach for the global sports and entertainment giant, beIN MEDIA GROUP.

Thanks to a complete solution, Alpha Networks’ Tucano APIs are connected to a large number of front-end providers and payment gateways, allowing beIN’s OTT platform, beIN Connect, to now address several operators and satellite operators in the MENA region.
