PrimeTel to unveil Arabic user interface at IPTV World Forum MEA 2008, Dubai
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008LIMASSOL — Following a successful presence at IBC 2008, PrimeTel will showcase Thunderworx’s Twister triple-play platform at IPTV World Forum Middle East & Africa 2008, in Dubai.
Twister is a complete end-to-end solution for the provision of triple-play IPTV, broadband Internet and VoIP telephony services. During the event, PrimeTel will, for the first time, demonstrate user interface in Arabic for its premier IPTV middleware, PrimeTV.
PrimeTV is a state-of-the-art, commercially deployed IPTV middleware with support for features such as TV Zapping, VOD, user interface in multiple languages, multicast EPG, Caller ID on screen, Network PVR and time-shifting. The PrimeTV experience is enhanced by a wealth of interactive applications, such as Internet videos, interactive music video jukebox, photo gallery with USB upload functionality, games, email, chat & RSS news.
The Twister platform has been successfully deployed in Cyprus by PrimeTel in a network with more than 20,000 subscribers.
