Nexstreaming integrates Irdeto's ISMACryp descrambler to play secure mobile TV services on DVB-H handsets, PC and laptops

First integrated ISMACryp mediaplayer for DVB-H market
Barcelona, Spain – 3GSM — Nexstreaming, the leading provider of embedded multimedia software solutions for mobile operators and handset manufacturers, and Irdeto, the proven expert in content security for digital TV, IPTV and mobile, and a subsidiary of multinational media group Naspers (NASDAQ: NPSN and JSE: NPN), today announce the successful integration of Irdeto’s ISMACryp descrambler into Nexstreaming’s media player. Nexstreaming’s NexPlayer now supports the play out of scrambled DVB-H services on DVB-H handsets, desktop computers and laptops.
The Nexstreaming NexPlayer is the first commercially available ISMACryp enabled player implemented for DVB-H broadcasting services. The integration of the descrambler directly into the media player combines the highest level of content security with the best video experience.
