Television Jamaica to launch NEXTGEN TV
Dec 24, 2022 – Television Jamaica (TVJ) has been accepted as a full member of ATSC. The membership is one of many moves that the station is undertaking as it embarks on a transition from analogue to the digital ATSC 3.0 transmission.

Jamaica - Digicel gets terrestrial pay TV licence
Nov 14, 2008 – Digicel has been granted a Jamaica-wide subscriber television (STV) licence by the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica, and plans to roll out its DVB-T 'DigiTV' service next year.
