Coship STBs for Continent TV in Russia
Monday, November 23rd, 2009Orion Express has selected set-top boxes from Coship (Shenzhen:002052) for its Continent TV satellite service in Russia.
There are two receiver options – a standard definition model (CSD-01/IR – Coship N6752), and a PVR-Ready high definition (HD) model (CHD-02/IR – Coship N8750B). The latter includes a USB port for the attachment of an external hard disk drive (HDD). Both receivers are MPEG-4 and DVB-S2 capable.
The boxes integrate conditional access from Irdeto to allow reception of encrypted Orion Express services on Express AM2 (80°E), Express AM3 (140°E) and Intelsat 15 (85°E), as well as free-to-air (FTA) broadcasts from any satellite.
