Algar Telecom (CTBC) launches DTH in Brazil
Friday, May 21st, 2010Algar Telecom, a subsidiary of Brazil’s Grupo Algar, has launched a pay TV satellite service starting on May 23rd. The service, called CTBC TV, is being sold initially in the cities of Uberlândia, Uberaba, Patos de Minas, Araguari, Pará de Minas, Ituiutaba (MG), Itumbiara (GO) and Franca (SP).
The service uses the same satellite infrastructure as Oi and Telefônica.
