Online games titan Miniclip moves into Smart TV with PlayJam
Wednesday, April 11th, 2012LONDON — PlayJam, the world’s leading TV games platform, has partnered with Miniclip, the largest online games website, to bring content to Smart TV.
Attracting over 65 million monthly game players to its website, Miniclip will utilize PlayJam’s platform to capitalize on the growth of Smart TV gaming.
Miniclip’s titles will be monetized and distributed via all major Smart TV manufacturers including those operated by Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sony, Western Digital and Vestel.
Classic Miniclip titles will be accessible via Smart TV including the crossplatform, smash hit games, Fragger, Gravity Guy and iStunt. Within each of these, PlayJam’s platform will power a rich set of social features such as leaderboards, tournaments and integration with key social networks to drive revenues and customer loyalty.
