French-based company ADMEA chooses Foxxum

The strong Smart TV growth experienced in Western Europe, together with the positive prediction pointing to a rise in the number of European households that own a connected TV, have led to an exclusive long-term partnership between the ADMEA Group and Foxxum GmbH.

The Foxxum Smart TV App Store will be integrated on ADMEA’s connected TVs under the brands Schneider, Radiola and Schaub Lorenz. The launch into the market is planned for the fourth quarter of 2017. At a first stage, France and Spain will be the main target markets, which will not limit the group from expanding to potential new territories together with Foxxum.

Foxxum’s user-friendly Smart TV Solution will be specially adapted in line with ADMEA’s demand to meet the customers’ expectations. The main focus is put on a maximized user experience – easy, intuitive and innovative – and on a big selection of major international and local content brands as music streaming services, games or VODs, which are available through the Foxxum TV Store.

“Foxxum’s TV Store will be a major factor of differentiation between ADMEA and his competitors. Through the content provided and improved ergonomics, we wish to extend and enhance the use of TV. We plan to install this portal on each of our devices, including on the small size TVs, in order to democratize the Smart TV as widely as possible”, says Philippe Samuel, CEO of ADMEA.

Created in 1994, ADMEA designs and subcontracts the manufacture of products marketed under the THOMSON brands for telephony and small household appliances, SCHNEIDER for televisions, audio and video ranges, SCHAUB LORENZ for television and large household appliances, Radiola for televisions, audio and video ranges and household appliances and Oxygen Audio for audio ranges. As the French distribution leader in the field of electrical domestic appliances, the group now has a team of around one hundred employees and its annual revenue reaches 130 million euros.
