GOL TV reaches 930,000 subscriber mark, more than 100,000 on DTT

GOL TELEVISIÓN has reached the 930,000 subscriber mark only two months since the launch of broadcasts as a Premium channel with the number of DTT subscribers (TDT Premium) now over 100,000. GOL TELEVISION distributes the very best football package via multiple channels: TDT Premium, cable platforms, IPTV and mobile telephone. 11% of the subscribers are currently via TDT subscription; 16%, on cable platforms (Ono, Euskaltel, Telecable, Grupo R, Aotec, Iseca); 66% via IPTV (Imagenio, Orange, Andorra Telecom and Jazztel); and 7% via mobile telephone (Movistar, Vodafone and Orange).
GOL TELEVISION is Spain’s first TDT pay channel. Since the launch at the end of August a series of different content access options have been added. There are currently 8 different manufacturers supplying the decoders and CAM’s allowing more than 15,000 people a week to sign up for GOL TELEVISION’s services in the last month.
GOL TELEVISION specialises in the very best football and broadcasts in high definition, 24/7, 365 days a year. Each week sees the channel broadcast three Spanish First Division games, one of which is always a Real Madrid or FC Barcelona match.
The channel also broadcasts two matches from the Liga Adelante, Copa del Rey games, 112 exclusive matches from the Champions League, featuring the four Spanish teams: FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Seville and Atlético de Madrid. In addition to the attractive Spanish match content package, GOL TELEVISION also offers viewers all the very best matches from the big European and South American leagues as well as all the latest news, reports, interviews, home content production and all the goals from around the world.
