KPN adds 38k DTT and IPTV subscribers in 3Q09

KPN Group (Amsterdam:KPN) has released its Interim financial report for Q3 2009.

Consumer

KPN sees continued growth in TV (Digitenne DTT + IPTV), with IPTV taking an increasing share (~70k subscribers) and the Company is on track to exceed 1 million TV subscribers in 2010. KPN decided to upgrade capacity on its copper network to VDSL2, enabling large scale IPTV coverage in Q2 2010. HDTV is currently being tested and is planned to go live in the same period.
