MECHELEN — Telenet (Brussels: TNET) signed an agreement with Norkring België NV concerning the use of capacity on the latter’s broadcasting infrastructure network. This will enable Telenet to offer digital TV and radio services through the digital ether in Flanders and Brussels. Generally, Telenet’s services are available through the cable network.
Â
Through this agreement, Telenet will be able to offer digital TV and radio services – beyond the traditional home – to secluded homes, caravans, holiday homes and cars. Telenet wishes to interact with the customer and to expand its product offering in order to respond to the changing trends in radio and TV consumption.
