77,831 IPTV customers for SaskTel at end-2009

Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corporation (SaskTel) today released its 2009 financial results, highlighted by a net income of $129.0 million and operating revenues of $1.15 billion, up $13.7 million from 2008. The performance was driven primarily by continued strong customer growth in cellular, Max™ Entertainment Services and internet services, partially offset by reductions in local access and long distance services.
Max Entertainment Services grew from 70,463 subscribers at the end of 2008 to 77,831 customers at the end of 2009.
