Open Hybrid TV on show at KOBA 2010 Show
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010Korea’s Open Hybrid TV (OHTV) system has been shown for the first time at KOBA 2010 in Seoul. OHTV is being developed by Samsung and LG Electronics in conjunction with three local broadcasters – KBS, SBS, and MBC. A first release specification for the system, which is similar in concept to Europe’s Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV), is expecetd later this year.
