TDF testing DVB-T2 transmissions in Brittany

France’s Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel (CSA) has announced that is has authorised a trial by TDF of digital terrestrial television (DTT) transmissions using DVB-T2.
The trial was authorised for six months beginning October 20, 2011, and is taking place using channel 43 on two transmitters (Rennes-Cesson Sévigné and Rennes-Janvier) in the city of Rennes in northwestern France.
