ACTON, Mass. — IBC 2012 — SeaChange International (Nasdaq: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, will use IBC2012 (Amsterdam, Sept. 7-11) to show how video service providers, large and small, across Europe are deploying SeaChange software to create and monetize on-demand and broadcast multi-screen services for TVs, tablets, smartphones, and PCs.
Stand 1.C27 will feature SeaChange’s Adrenalin back office, Infusion advanced advertising, Nitro user experience and Nucleus soft box. Demonstrations of SeaChange’s integrated Adrenalin Business Management Suite and Business Intelligence software will show how service providers can fully monetize multi-screen services with extensive content promotions and business analytics. Integrated partner demonstrations will include set-tops from ADB, Netgem and Toya.
“Europe’s video service providers are moving forward with multi-screen services, making SeaChange the leading choice to build their video management and delivery foundation,” said Andrei Noppe, SVP/GM for SeaChange’s EMEA/APAC region. “Our IBC demos present the market’s progress and how we’re moving further ahead to fully monetize the subscriber experience in home and on the go with advertising, content promotions and recommendations.”
SeaChange Adrenalin™ is a next generation unified back office platform based on an open service-oriented architecture enabling operators to manage, monetize, and deliver a seamless multi-screen experience to subscribers. The platform incorporates applications focused on business management, content management, recommendations, monitoring, and client publishers.
SeaChange Nitro™ is our award winning next generation multi-screen user experience application that enables operators to provide a seamless presentation of linear and on-demand content across mobile, PC, tablet and TV screens. Nitro leverages HTML5 to give subscribers intuitive features and functionality to navigate and manage video content on any screen they choose, including catch-up TV, search, recommendations, bookmarking, TV listings and social media.
SeaChange’s Nucleus™ soft box gateway is the next generation software solution that supports the new RDK (Reference Development Kit) software environment and vendor ecosystem, and enables video service providers’ transition from QAM to IP video so they can offer consumers multi-screen media sharing, whole-home DVR, access to online apps and OTT content, smartphone and tablet apps that act as the TV remote control, and much more.
The SeaChange Adrenalin Business Management Suite (BMS) delivers another unique SeaChange advantage through tightly integrated promotional and business analytics tools. The BMS empowers service providers to fully merchandise their on-demand content through bundling and promotions like loyalty programs and Happy Hour discounts, in addition to providing complete lifecycle management of their content contracts. Working in concert with SeaChange Adrenalin Business Intelligence software, service providers get the convenience of web-based analytics to see which content subscribers have viewed and purchased, allowing them to fine-tune their campaigns and better manage inventory.
SeaChange Infusion™ is an advanced advertising solution that represents the transformation of SeaChange’s world-leading video ad technology into an enhanced monetization platform that seamlessly unites television and internet ad operations. Infusion enables targeted, multi-screen ad insertion capabilities for pre-, mid- and post-rolls, overlays, banner ads, click-throughs, and companion ads. Operators can combine personalized information with business rules to determine which ads to place in either linear or on-demand content.
SeaChange will also showcase its linear broadcast solutions for providers of HbbTV and DVB services. Consisting of the STAGIS, CASIS and SPECTRIS and CAPTIS products, SeaChange’s linear DVB broadcast platform helps operators manage, monitor and automate the complex metadata, electronic program guide (EPG), table generation and scheduling functions required to meet and support open DVB standards.
