SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Zenverge, a leading developer of advanced content networking ICs, today announced that its ZN200 quad HD content networking SOC powers the TiVo® Stream, a sophisticated transcoding platform that connects TiVo Premiere multiroom digital video recorders (DVRs) with other IP-connected devices. Relying on the ZN200’s powerful multistream networked transcoding technology, TiVo Stream enables television viewers owning a TiVo Premiere DVR to stream and download high-quality live and recorded content simultaneously to multiple wireless devices on the home network.

TiVo Stream leverages Zenverge’s ZN200 TransAll transcoding engine to offer superior video processing and networking technology by transcoding up to four HD video streams securely and seamlessly with CableLabs-approved TiVoGuard™. In addition, Zenverge’s unique TransZip™ high-speed processing provides users with the ability to download recorded television content to their smartphones and tablet devices quickly for sync-n-go applications.
TiVo Stream will be available in retail and on Tivo.com. In North America, consumer electronics retailer Best Buy will market the innovative new product to provide consumers with a true HD viewing experience anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
