Teletec wins Tijuana set-top box tender

Mexico’s Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones (COFETEL) has announced that Teletec de México S.A. de C.V. has won the tender to provide set-top boxes for the roll-out of digital terrestrial TV in Tijuana, Mexico’s first city to have the service.
The objective is to be able to switch off the analogue TV service in Tijuana by April 16th, 2013.
