Greece's first HD platform project to deploy conditional access solution from Conax

COLOGNE, Germany — Anga Cable — Leading Greek satellite operator, Hellas Sat, is ready to launch an exciting new HD platform with conditional access from Conax. The Hellas Sat HD platform will secure its premium pay content using state-of-the art content security solution, Conax CAS7, core product from leading CA provider, Conax.

The Hellas Sat HD platform is the first HD project in Greece and a special initiative to promote the benefits of HD. Launch strategy is meant to combine promoting the optimal high quality of HD using major events as the tools to introduce the new, added-value services available with Hellas Sat HD.

Satellite broadcasting operations tailor a strategic set of technologies to provide an optimal end-to-end platform. Though conditional access is a small portion of the overall platform, it plays a very key role in securing the business results of the total business model.
