Partnering with UniqCast, established vendor and system integrator for interactive video services, Mawarid Electronics aims to offer full triple play service to their customers, as we well as to other service providers in the region. Goal is to launch interactive video services with premium user experience, providing Live TV, Video on Demand, nPVR and Catch Up TV services on hybrid DVB-S2/T2 STB and mobile devices.

Mawarid Electronics will offer a hybrid Media Mall STB, a single device supporting multiple video delivery methods. With attractive content and video services, they plan to upsell new services to existing GPON subscribers as well as to attract new users. In partnership with Mawarid Electronics, the service will also be available to other service operators and content providers in the region.
“We are proud to be part of the OTT project for Mawarid Electronics,” said Mr. Darko Robič, CEO at UniqCast. “I look forward to a successful cooperation between both companies that will shape the future of video delivery services in the MENA region.”
