The TDC Group Selects Mediamorph’s Content Value Management (CVM) Platform to Exploit and Expand its Blockbuster VOD Experience in the Nordics

  • With high adoption of its service, a world-class VOD infrastructure was required to have better intelligence on content value and to ramp-up revenues

NEW YORK — Mediamorph, the leading Content Value Management (CVM) cloud platform powering the largest entertainment companies in the world, announced today that the TDC Group, a leading communication and home entertainment company based in Denmark, will use Mediamorph’s solution to help its BLOCKBUSTER video on demand (VOD) business throughout the Nordics. The continued partnership shows TDC’s commitment to using progressive technology to quickly scale and bring the right content to its customer base.

Mediamorph’s CVM enabled the TDC Group to automate their VOD platforms and more effectively capitalize on content contracts, control VOD royalties, and streamline their supply chain.

“With over 15,000 titles, we needed to ensure that content is available on time with the correct terms to maximize revenues,” said Casper Hald, CEO of Blockbuster. “Now with Mediamorph, we have the ability to easily ensure accurate availabilities, windows, pricing, and royalty calculations to maximize content monetization. We also wanted to build a better bridge with our content partners to intelligently optimize and quickly share our performance,” Casper Hald added.

“Mediamorph has fast become the go-to provider for Digital Retailers helping increase VOD revenue and enabling platforms to scale quickly,” said Rob Gardos, CEO of Mediamorph. “Mediamorph’s CVM platform drives greater accountability, flexibility and scalability to maximize revenues. Using our solutions, the TDC Group has been able to drive innovation that is so important for today’s connected consumers and accelerate growth.”
