Spain ends 2007 with 295,000 mobile TV subscribers

According to data from the Annual Report of the Comisión del Mercado de las Telecomunicaciones (CMT), the number of pay-TV subscribers in Spain at the end of 2007 was 3.98 million, with revenues growing 5.4% over the previous year to reach €2.010 billion. Income from IPTV rose by 64% to €130.5 million, while mobile TV, in its first year of introduction, acquired 295,246 subscribers with a turnover of €8.7 million.
