Cablecom sales and customer figures show continuous growth
Thursday, August 7th, 2008Cablecom was able to sustain its solid growth in the second quarter of 2008. During this period sales totalled 277 million francs. Rising customer figures have had a positive effect on the result. For example, the number of digital television customers rose to 321,000 by the end of the first half-year. The demand for high resolution television (HDTV) rose significantly.
By 30 June cablecom had increased customer figures for digital television to 321,000, a gain of over 21,000 during the second quarter of 2008. What is striking is that new customers are increasingly asking for HDTV, as 40% of new digital cable customers requested HD receivers during the second quarter of 2008.
