Zappware supports Orange Belgium for the launch of its next-generation Android TV solution

HASSELT, Belgium — Orange Belgium recently launched its next-generation TV service using Zappware’s award-winning NeXX 4.0 ecosystem.

Zappware provided its Android TV Operator Tier solution, unlocking DVB-C channels and OTT streaming content in a nicely integrated user experience. All Orange branded and customized to the operators’ specific needs. This solution will bring the ultimate user experience to the end consumer by being seamlessly integrated with the 3rd party broadcaster and content apps.

The versatile multi-screen/multi-device user experience is powered by Zappware’s cloud-native AWS backoffice.

This micro-services based back-office architecture will give Orange Belgium the necessary flexibility to easily scale the system and extend it with additional features.

Next to offering its technical components, which are based on latest cutting-edge technology choices, Zappware also took the role of System Architect and System Integrator. Together with the Orange team and the other technology partners, Zappware took the lead in designing the end-to-end architecture to assure a high level of service quality.
