Jul 26, 2022 – According to TRAI, the total Pay DTH active subscriber base in India decreased from 68.52 million in December 2021 to 66.92 million in March 2022. There are 12 MSOs & 1 HITS operator with a subscriber base of over one million.

India adds 8.45 million DTH subscribers in 2013
Apr 28, 2014 – TRAI has released telecoms statistics for the quarter ending December, 2013. As on 31.12.2013 the total registered and active subscriber bases of the countries private DTH licensees were 62.97 million and 35.81 million respectively.

India adds over 10 million satellite TV subscribers in 2012
May 6, 2013 – The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released telecom performance indicators for the Quarter ending December 2012. At the end of the year the reported registered subscriber base for satellite TV providers was 54.52 million, up from 44.21 at the end of 2011.

India passes 50 million DTH subscriber mark in 3Q 2012
Jan 11, 2013 – The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has released its Performance Indicator Report for the third quarter of 2012. At quarter-end, India's DTH subscriber base was 50.91 million, up from 48.45 million at the end of the previous quarter.
