Telechips' multimedia processor adopted for LG's mobile TV phone

Telechips’ multimedia processor supports LG’s mobile TV phone, ‘KU950’, which make its debut at ‘3GSM World Congress 2007’. KU950 features DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting Handheld) support.

The KU950, UMTS(WCDMA)-based HSDPA/DVB-H phone is equipped with a 2.4 inch wide swing screen which makes it possible for users to enjoy watching TV. It also lets the users watch TV and talk on the phone simultaneously. It provides fast video streaming through 1.8Mbps HSDPA capabilities.
