SmartLabs Delivers End-to-End Solutions to Spanish TV Operator Bona Netto

L’ALFÀS DEL PI, Spain — Bona Netto, a Spanish broadband operator, has chosen SmartLabs to drive its ambitious goals to develop the company’s interactive television business
SmartLabs has announced a contract with the Spanish operator Bona Netto for the supply and implementation of an integrated solution to deliver IPTV and OTT services to various subscriber markets. The main component of the solution is SmartTUBE SDP, a converged service delivery platform. Also, SmartLabs will deliver SML-282 Base and SML-292 Premium STBs to the operator.
To date, Bona Netto has deployed a pilot installation. The operator is satisfied with the current results of the pilot project and is ready to expand the collaboration.
SmartLabs solution will provide the operator with all the features needed to drive its interactive TV services. Currently, Bona Netto SL offers Web access and IP telephony services. By enhancing these services with the TV offering, the operator can provide a complete triple-play package. With the SmartLabs solution, the operator plans to empower its existing corporate customers with high-quality IPTV services, and residential customers with modern OTT services.
