AMSTERDAM — Wyplay, creator of software solutions for pay TV operators, and MStar Semiconductor, Inc., a leading global semiconductor company for display and digital home solutions, today announced that the Frog Client turnkey solution is integrated on MStar Hybrid STB chipset. This bundled offer may be extended to other MStar product in the future.
Mstar Hybrid STB chipset support 4K/Full HD and MPEG-4/MPEG-2/HEVC video with the latest advanced security engine. They are fully capable with running multimedia applications that includes PayTV/IPTV/OTT product. Leveraging this partnership, MStar can offer STB Manufacturers, Operators, and Telecoms the most efficient way to meet market needs. The highly optimized solution will provide a competitive advantage to set-top boxes and enhance customer experience while considerably reducing time-to-market for delivery of new value added services.
Frog Turnkey is an end-to-end software solution that delivers a modern User Experience including all the features for traditional broadcast TV and OTT, on-demand contents and applications, as well as personal media and recordings. The client side is pre-integrated on low-cost STBs from a large selection of partner OEMs.
