BOLD’s new APP allows Android TV for STB and TV: It’s all integrated
Android TV
BOLD MSS now provides operators with a unique, secure and guaranteed APP option that will work on any STB or TV with ANDROID TV system. This will allow operators to distribute their own custom devices based on the Android TV platform.
This new solution is adapted to the latest demands and requirements of subscribers in the cable TV industry: they want to find everything in the same APP. Linear cable channels, VOD and Live content, plus the reproduction of today’s most popular video streaming platforms, like Netflix, Amazon and Disney+, among others. All these reproductions can be executed from the same interface thanks to the Home Launcher mode, which can be customized according to the preferences of each operator.
Among the functionalities that BOLD MSS developed for this APP, we can highlight its integration with the general Android TV search engine, the preview of channel content, available grid and EPG management, access to CatchUP, favorites section and “My list” to save content with the option of watching it later.
Look and feel: The operator offers the TV experience with the same appearance, colors and its own brand. The subscriber will not have to leave the operator’s own APP to access the various contents of the streaming platforms. Everything takes place within the same APP.
Speed, search responses and content reproduction: This APP stands out for its high speed when reproducing contents, in addition to having protection and security backed by strategic leaders of the industry associated with BOLD. Subscribers will not be disappointing and won’t find “surprises” such as content interruption for no reason.
